oneclick.bio Quickstart
Introduction
oneclick.bio allows you to get the most out of your Instagram and TikTok bio links. Easily create pages with clickable images, buttons, social media icons, and then add the link to your Instagram or TikTok bio. Follow the instructions below to get started:
1. How to access the app
oneclick.bio is available as an app in the Hootsuite Content Library. To access the app, first click the Plan icon in Hootsuite's left menu bar.
Next, click Content in the upper menu bar, and then select oneclick.bio. NOTE: If you have many apps installed, you may have to select oneclick.bio from the More apps menu:
2. Authorizing with Hootsuite and Facebook.
When you first install the oneclick.bio app, you will be asked to Login with Hootsuite, and approve the permissions we need to access your Hootsuite account for post scheduling.
Next, you will be asked to Login with Facebook, and approve the permissions we need to get your Instagram accounts posts.
After you have authorized oneclick.bio on Facebook, click the Select Instagram Accounts button in your Hootsuite stream:
In the popup that is displayed, select the Instagram accounts you would like to use by clicking the box to the right of each account:
If you're not seeing all of your accounts, click the Click here link for more info on what you can do.
Clicking the folder icon will allow you to group your Instagram accounts. This is useful for users who have a large number of accounts. The first time you click it, you will be asked to create a new group:
After you have created some groups, you can add an account to one or more groups by clicking the box to the right of a group:
After you have created groups, you can select groups of accounts to display in the Accounts page:
Adding TikTok accounts
To add TikTok accounts, first click the settings icon in the app's menu, and then click the Manage Accounts button under the TikTok Accounts section:
To add a new TikTok account, click the Add New TikTok Account button at the bottom of the popup. After you have added a TikTok account, click the checkbox to the right of the account to start using that account, and create a bio link page for it. You can add TikTok accounts to groups by clicking the folder icon .
3. Creating and publishing pages
After you have added your first Instagram/TikTok account, the following will be displayed in the app's stream:
To create your first page, click the Create a page button, and you will be taken to the Page Editor:
NOTE: When you want to make changes to existing pages, or create new ones, click the Page Editor icon in the menu bar located at the top of the app.
Page types
You can create three different types of pages:
- Draft page. A page which isn't published.
- Main page. This is your main page, and will be accessible from the URL https://oneclick.bio/<instagram account name>, where <instagram account name> is replaced with your Instagram account's name.
- Sub-page. A page which is published, but is not your main page. These pages are accessible from https://oneclick.bio/<instagram account name>/<page name>. <page name> will be replaced with the name you give to the page, with spaces, and unsupported characters removed. For example, if you have a page named Human Resources, and your Instagram account is synaptivetechnologies, the page's URL will be: https://oneclick.bio/synaptivetechnologies/humanresources
Creating your first page
To create your first page, start off by entering a name for your page and selecting the Instagram/TikTok account that this page will be for. Also, choose which type of page you are creating.
Page composition
oneclick.bio pages are made up of five sections: Header, Feature, Gallery, Buttons and Footer:
Header
In the Header section, you can change the title to be something different than your Instagram/TikTok account's username, as well as add text to be displayed beneath the title. You can also customize the look of your page's header, with the Text color, Background color, Alignment and Background image options.
Feature
The Feature section allows you to add featured images to your page.
To add a Feature image, click one of the images from your Instagram/TikTok account, or, click the Upload icon to upload a new one. After you have selected an image, add the link you want the image to point to, and optionally, add text you would like displayed below the Feature image. Clicking the YouTube button will allow you to add a YouTube video to your page's Feature section:
Simply paste the video's ID or the URL to the video to add the video.
If you add more than one image/video, a carousel will be created, allowing users to "swipe" through the featured images.
Feature options
To change the order of the items, grab the handle to the left of the item, and drag it to the new position.
Click the trash can to remove the feature image from your page, and click the calendar
icon to set a date/time at which the item will be removed from the featured section:
Gallery
The Gallery section allows you to add a table of images with links to your page.
To add an image from your Instagram/TikTok account, simply click on it. You can also click the Upload icon to upload an image from your computer. Once you've added an image, enter the link you would like to associate with the image in the box to the right of the image.
Gallery options
To change the order of the items, grab the handle to the left of the item, and drag it to the new position.
Click the trash can to remove the gallery image from your page, and click the calendar
icon to set a date/time at which the item will be removed from the gallery section:
Buttons
The Buttons section allows you to add buttons with links to your page:
To add a button, click the New button button. You can select from three different types of buttons:
- Sub-page link
- External Link
- Calendar link
Sub-page links
Selecting Sub-page link from the New button menu will display a sub-menu with a list of all the Sub-pages you have created. When a user clicks a sub-page link, they will be taken to the sub-page.
External Links
External links are simply buttons which when a user clicks, they will be taken to the page you have linked to. Enter full links, including https://, e.g.:
https://www.synaptive.com
You can also add mailto: and tel: links, which will allow your users to phone or email you with one click. For these links, use the following formats:
mailto:support@ourdomain.com
tel:123-456-7890
Calendar Links
Calendar link buttons allow you to add buttons which users can click and add an event to their calendar.
The calendar button will look like the following example on your page:
When a user clicks your event, the following popup will be displayed:
and the user can select which calendar type to add the even to.
You can also customize the text and background colors of your buttons by clicking the Text and Background buttons, and selecting the color you want.
Button options
To the right of the buttons are three options: Calendar,
Icons and
Delete.
Click the Calendar icon to schedule when the item will be removed from your page.
To add icons to your button, click the Icons icon, and an icon picker will be displayed:
You can search for icons by entering keywords in the input box. Selecting an icon will add it to your button:
Click the trash can icon if you want to delete a button. To change the order of the buttons, grab the handle
to the left of the button, and drag it to the new position.
Footer
The Footer section allows you to add icons to the bottom of your page that link to your social media accounts, website, online store or blog:
Simply add a URL to the input box, and the corresponding icon will be displayed at the bottom of your oneclick.bio page. Enter full links, including https://, e.g.:
https://www.synaptive.com
For Email address and Phone number, simply enter your email address or phone number, respectively.
Once you're done, click the Save button to save your page.
NOTE: If the page you are editing has already been published, the changes will be saved, and the changes will be applied to the live, published, page.
Settings
The Settings section allows you to change your page's layout and the font used for text, as well as the colors used for the text and background in the body of your page. NOTE: these colors will not be used for the page's header, nor for any buttons on the page. Use the color settings in Header and Button sections to change colors for those.
You can also change the Aspect Ratio used to display images in your gallery.:
Publishing pages
If you have created a page using one of the Main page or Sub-page page types, they will be automatically published when you click the Save page button at the bottom of the interface:
You can also get the QR code for your page, in addition to copying the page's link or viewing the live page.
Adding your oneclick.bio link to your Instagram and TikTok accounts
Once you have created and saved your oneclick.bio page you can now add it to your Instagram or TikTok account. To do so, first click the clipboard icon for your page. (it will be displayed when you hover your mouse over your Instagram/TikTok account in the oneclick.bio stream) For Instagram, next, go to Instagram and select the Settings option. Under the Edit profile section, you will see a Website option. Paste the link you copied above into the Website section, and then finally click the Submit button at the bottom to save your settings.
For TikTok, you will first need a Business account with 1,000 followers. Once you have switched, simply go to your TikTok profile, and paste your oneclick.bio link into the Website section.
Scheduling posts
NOTE: Scheduling currently only works for Instagram accounts.
With your page now published, you can now either manually add new posts to your oneclick.bio page by clicking the Page Editor icon and editing your page, or choose to automate their addition by selecting Yes, add scheduled Instagram posts from the Scheduled posts option for each of your Instagram accounts:
After selecting Yes, simply add a link to the end of the text/caption of your scheduled posts using the Hootsuite publisher:
Now, when your post is sent by Hootsuite, the image and link will be added to your oneclick.bio page automatically. NOTE: your link must start with https:// or http:// to have the post automatically added to your oneclick.bio page.
If you don't want to add links to your posts, you can also add links to scheduled posts using the Schedule manager. (see below for more info)
Other options
With your oneclick.bio page now live, when you hover over the Instagram/TikTok account's section in stream, five options will be displayed (four options in the case of TikTok):
Clicking the write icon will open up the Page Manager where you can edit this accounts pages.
Clicking the clock icon (only available for Instagram accounts) will open the Schedule manager popup:
The Schedule manager displays all of the scheduled messages you have for your Instagram account. Entering a URL in the URL input box for the post will cause the image to be added to your oneclick.bio page at the scheduled time, linking to the URL you have entered. If you do not enter a URL, the post will not be added to your oneclick.bio page.
Clicking the RSS icon will display a popup where you can enter your RSS feed:
If you add an RSS feed, oneclick.bio will check the feed regularly for new items added to your feed, and add the image and link associated with new items in your feed to your oneclick.bio page.
Clicking the QR code icon will display the QR code for your page in a popup. You can save the QR code to share it with users, or use it to easily view your page on your mobile devices for testing purposes.
Clicking the icon will copy the link for your page to the clipboard. After you have copied your oneclick.bio link, you will then have to manually add it to your bio on Instagram.
Clicking the link icon will show you what your page looks like in your browser -- NOTE: Chrome users can view their page on a variety of different devices by selecting the Developer's tools menu option.
To edit your pages Google Analytics codes, click the icon:
NOTE: You can use different Google Analytics Tracking IDs and UTM tags for each of your Instagram/TikTok accounts.

Making Changes and Creating New Pages
To make changes to a saved page, or create a new page, simply click the icon in the app's menu bar, and the Page Editor will be displayed. Any changes made to a page which is currently published, e.g. your main page or any sub-pages you have created, will be made live when you click the Save button.
4. App Settings
Clicking the Settings icon will display the settings dropdown menu:
Clicking one of the Manage Accounts buttons will display the Instagram/TikTok accounts popup, where you can select which Instagram/TikTok accounts you would like to use with oneclick.bio.
Clicking one of the Update Profile Picture buttons will update the profile pictures associated with your Instagram/TikTok accounts to the latest version.
You can also delete your current authentications for Facebook and Hootsuite by clicking their respective delete buttons.
5. Displaying accounts
To display all of your Instagram and TikTok accounts, click the Accounts option in the apps menu bar:
NOTE: if you have created any groups for your accounts, those will be displayed when you click Accounts.
6. Analytics
If you choose to not use Google Analytics, you can use oneclick.bio's built-in analytics suite. Clicking the Analytics icon in the app's menu bar displays the Analytics page:
Here you can view results for a variety of analytics, as well as view reports for your page.
Clicking the calendar in the Date Range section will allow you to select date ranges to view results for:
Click the download icon to download PDF or CSV versions of your data:
NOTE: All the data we collect is not user identifiable. We only collect the action and time it occurred. As a result, if a user clicks on a button twice, it will be registered as two clicks, i.e. there is no "unique user" data. There are also no cookies used when collecting data. The exception for this is if you choose to use Google Analytics for data analysis.
7. Teams
To share your oneclick.bio account with members of your Hootsuite team, first click the Teams icon in the app's menu bar. If you haven't already authenticated with Hootsuite, you will be prompted to do so:
After you have authenticated, you can select users from your Hootsuite teams to share your oneclick.bio account with:
NOTE: The user sharing the oneclick.bio account must be an administrator of a Hootsuite team/organization.
