When I add a new competitor, Synapview isn't finding all of the competitor's accounts
If after adding a competitor's website URL to Synapview, you're not seeing all of the Social accounts, you can try a few things:
- Add the URL to the competitor's blog. Quite often this will help to find not only all of the competitor's social media accounts, but also the URL for the competitor's blog's feed.
- Similar to #1 above, try adding the contact page for the competitor
- And, if you're still not seeing everything, you can try manually entering the accounts individually.
A good example is for the Reviewtrackers. If we enter https://www.reviewtrackers.com, Synapview is unable to find any social media accounts. And trying https://www.reviewtrackers.com/blog/ or https://www.reviewtrackers.com/contact/ doesn't get us any closer either
In this case, we're going to have to try and enter each one manually. A quick search on Google finds the Twitter account reviewtrackers. Enter this in the Twitter box, and click the open link icon to make sure it really exists.
